About the Artist

Danielle Armstrong is a self-taught artist who lives in St. Petersburg with her husband, Michael and her adorable poodle, Winston. 

Before she started illustrating and painting, Danielle got an undergraduate degree in psychology and after that, just to shake things up, she went to culinary school where she graduated top in her class. She was a professional pastry chef for several years. After wearing whites for too long, she decided to trade in her chef uniforms for loungewear and now writes proposals during the day. Because she loves to keep herself overly busy, Danielle is constantly creating and painting and is currently in the process of shifting her career to a full-time artist. She has displayed her paintings and illustrations at small art shows in St. Petersburg. When she’s not creating, Danielle can be found hitting tennis balls at the Vinoy, drinking one too many cocktails and then questioning this decision, and wandering around local vintage shops.
